Founded in 1974, the first company within the group being GSM Graphic Arts Ltd, based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire and specialising in the manufacture & supply of metal labels, nameplates, fascias and control panels. From its’ inception GSM has employed a strategic acquisition and expansion policy resulting in a wide ranging and diverse but complimentary group of companies and the formation of GSM Group Ltd.

The group operates globally and amongst its’ many specialities are: The manufacture & supply of precision sheet metalwork components & electro mechanical assemblies through GSM Valtech Industries, bespoke barcoding solutions and asset tracking software through GSM Printer & Label Systems Ltd. and GSM Barcoding.
